The new Aeons album by Esprit D'Air is on its way

We are excited to announce that our brand new album, Aeons, will be released on November 7th, 2025.

Aeons is our most ambitious album yet. A journey through time, struggle, and rebirth, told across 12 tracks. 

The creation of Aeons stretched across more than a year, combining writing on tour with months of focused recording sessions. Many of the songs began as sketches while Kai was touring, later developed into full arrangements in the studio. Aeons was entirely self-produced and recorded internally, with no external collaborators brought into the process.

Production was led by Kai, who shaped the majority of the tracks, while Takeshi contributed production to two songs (Silver Leaf & Stardust), and Yusuke provided lyrics on a few tracks. All drums across the album were performed by Vincent Velazco. We finished the process with John Hutchins at The Recording Studio, who handled the mixing and mastering.

The artwork for Aeons was created in collaboration with Lewis-Jon Somerscales, who has previously worked on design projects for Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XVI. His vision helped bring the theme into reality in the album artwork.

The record follows a loose narrative that ties all 12 tracks together. It begins with the voice of time itself, passing judgment on humanity, and moves through despair, defiance, and resilience before finally breaking free from the prison of time.

These themes, time, struggle, renewal — feel especially relevant in 2025. The world often feels caught in cycles of uncertainty and repetition, and Aeons is about finding the strength to break through those patterns. Even when the songs are dark, they carry the hope of rising again.
