Esprit D'Air Hits #1 in the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart

Esprit D'Air celebrates a major milestone as their new album Aeons, released on November 7, 2025, debuts at #1 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart. The independently released album also entered several other Official Charts, including:

  • #1 Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart
  • #3 Official Independent Albums Breakers Chart
  • #6 Official Album Downloads Chart
  • #12 Official Independent Albums Chart
  • #29 Official Albums Sales Chart
  • #51 Official Physical Album Sales Chart

Blending towering guitars, industrial textures, and emotional songwriting, Aeons features the singles, 'Shadow of Time', and 'Lost Horizon', 'Broken Mirror', alongside 'Silver Leaf' and 'Chronos', which were both voted Best New Metal Track of the Week by Metal Hammer readers.

Following the charting success of their previous albums Constellations (2017), Oceans (2022), and Seasons (2024), Aeons marks a new high point for Esprit D'Air.

Speaking about the concept behind the album, vocalist and producer Kai says:

'Aeons is about time — how it traps us, shapes us, and forces us to confront ourselves. These songs were written against a backdrop of global uncertainty and turmoil, but there's a thread of resilience running through them. Even when everything feels overwhelming, there's still the possibility of renewal. The record moves between struggle and hope, darkness and light — a reminder that there’s always a way forward.'

Esprit D'Air is led by guitarist and producer Kai, who also performs in The Sisters of Mercy, with Vincent Velazco (ex-Ghost, Pendragon) on drums, Takeshi (ex-MergingMoon) on bass, and Yusuke on guitar. Unlike previous albums that featured a number of guest artists, Aeons represents a focused new chapter written and self-produced entirely by the band.

Following their ten-country European tour in venues up to 1,500 capacity, Esprit D'Air will embark on an intimate grassroots UK & Ireland tour from November 2025 in support of the album. The tour focuses on smaller venues to bring the new songs directly to fans in a raw, close-up setting, and includes a rescheduled date in Barcelona after the previous postponement caused by a national power outage.
